Procedures We Perform
Premier Surgical Center offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures using advanced technology and evidence-based techniques. Your physician will discuss the most appropriate treatment options for your condition and answer any questions you may have prior to your procedure.
Heart & Coronary Procedures
4 procedures
- Cardiac Catheterization (Coronary Angiogram)
- Cardiac catheterization allows physicians to evaluate heart function and identify narrowed or blocked coronary arteries. Using advanced imaging and contrast dye, physicians can assess blood flow and determine the best treatment approach. This is one of the most frequently performed procedures at our center.
- Coronary Angioplasty & Stenting
- Coronary angioplasty and stenting help restore blood flow through narrowed or blocked coronary arteries. During the procedure, a small balloon is used to open the artery, and a stent may be placed to help keep it open.
- Advanced Artery Imaging & Blood Flow Testing
- Specialized technologies such as intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and fractional flow reserve (FFR/iFR) provide detailed information about artery blockages and help physicians make informed treatment decisions.
- Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)
- A TEE provides highly detailed ultrasound images of the heart and valves, helping physicians evaluate structural heart conditions and guide treatment planning.
Heart Rhythm Procedures
6 procedures
- Cardioversion
- Cardioversion uses a carefully controlled electrical impulse to restore a normal heart rhythm in patients experiencing certain cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter.
- Catheter Ablation
- Catheter ablation is used to treat abnormal heart rhythms by targeting specific areas of heart tissue responsible for irregular electrical activity. Procedures may include atrial fibrillation ablation and AV node ablation.
- Pacemaker Implantation & Replacement
- Pacemakers help regulate heart rhythm by delivering gentle electrical signals when needed. Our physicians perform new pacemaker implants, generator replacements, and lead-related procedures.
- Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs) & Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT)
- These advanced devices monitor heart rhythm and provide treatment when potentially dangerous arrhythmias occur. Certain devices can also help improve coordination of the heart's pumping action in patients with heart failure.
- Implantable Heart Monitors
- Small implantable monitors continuously record heart rhythm activity and can help diagnose unexplained symptoms such as fainting, palpitations, or irregular heartbeats.
- Cardiac Contractility Modulation Therapy
- This advanced heart failure therapy uses specialized implanted technology to help improve the strength and efficiency of the heart's contractions in certain patients.
Vascular Procedures
6 procedures
- Peripheral Angiograms
- Peripheral angiograms use advanced imaging to evaluate blood flow throughout the arteries of the abdomen, pelvis, and legs and identify areas of narrowing or blockage.
- Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) Treatment
- Our physicians treat peripheral artery disease using minimally invasive techniques, including angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy, and intravascular lithotripsy to restore blood flow and improve circulation.
- Kidney & Abdominal Artery Procedures
- Diagnostic and interventional procedures are available to evaluate and treat narrowing within the arteries that supply the kidneys and abdominal organs.
- Carotid & Upper Extremity Interventions
- Our physicians perform procedures to diagnose and treat disease affecting arteries in the neck, shoulder, and upper extremities, helping improve blood flow and reduce the risk of complications.
- Venography & Vein Stenting
- Venous imaging and intervention procedures are used to evaluate and treat narrowed or obstructed veins that may contribute to leg swelling, chronic venous conditions, or clot-related complications.
- Vena Cava Filter Placement & Removal
- Inferior vena cava (IVC) filters may be placed to help prevent blood clots from reaching the lungs and can be removed when no longer needed.
Commitment to Innovation
Premier Surgical Center physicians actively participate in cardiovascular clinical research evaluating emerging therapies, devices, and treatment approaches. Eligible patients may have opportunities to participate in approved clinical studies that help advance the future of cardiovascular care.
