Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
General Summary:
St Louis Heart and Vascular (SLHV) is seeking a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform routine clinical diagnostic cardiology procedures. Candidate must follow all regulatory guidelines, and must be familiar with guidelines issued by IEMA in the state of Illinois, and NRC in Missouri. Must competently perform all record keeping associated with regulatory rules and regulations. Must also participate in ICANL accreditations, and be familiar with those guidelines as well.
Responsibilities include obtaining quality images, maintaining inventory of necessary supplies, maintaining nuclear equipment and performing routine maintenance and routine checks for proper functionality of all nuclear equipment. Maintains nuclear equipment by assuring that preventive maintenance is performed in accordance with ICANL specifications.
Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills is necessary.
Must be licensed in Illinois and Missouri. NMTCB, and ARRT certifications a plus. Nuclear cardiology experience preferred.
MUST have transportation and be able to travel to multiple offices at any time.
